Basics
The Basics is a no-frills, straightforward energy plan. All Transmission and Distribution Service Provider (TDSP) charges are passed through at cost.
Mega Saver
This plan is for households with high electricity consumption. You get a $150 monthly bill credit every month your energy usage exceeds 2,000 kWh. There are also no base charges, and you receive Just Energy’s lowest energy rates. Refer to the Electricity Facts Label for additional information.
Power Plus
Power Plus is designed for homes with higher energy usage, but not as high as Mega Saver homes. This electricity plan offers a $100 bill credit when your monthly usage surpasses 1,000 kWh. Refer to the Electricity Facts Label for additional information.
Simple Choice
Simple Choice is an affordable, fixed-rate plan. It is available in a variety of term lengths and comes with easy-to-manage energy costs. Like the Basics plan, Simple Choice rates pass on all (TDSP) charges at cost.
Nights Free
The free nights plan offers 10 hours of free electricity at night, from 9 PM to 7 AM as a bill credit. It’s a valuable plan for night owls or individuals who use high-energy appliances at night, such as central air conditioning for cooler sleeping temperatures.
Weekends Free
Under this plan, your bill is credited back for any electricity usage between 7:00 PM on Friday and 11:59 PM on Sunday. This plan is great if you typically do chores like laundry on the weekend or spend a lot of time at home with the HVAC system running. The more you shift your energy usage to the weekend, the better for your bill and budget.
Sustainable Energy Initiatives
Just Energy offers several energy initiatives for individuals interested in exploring green energy options.
JustGreen is an add-on program that purchases renewable energy credits on your behalf. With JustGreen, the equivalent of 100% of your home’s consumed power is generated from renewable energy sources, such as wind or solar power. This program is directly tied to your home’s energy usage.
When you sign up with Just Energy, you have the option to sign up for a GoodBundle subscription. Depending on the GoodBundle subscription tier you select, you receive different benefits and can include a fixed amount of carbon offsets every month to support the environment. Just Energy also offers a solar buyback program, which provides bill credits for excess energy generated by solar panels. Unused credits are rolled over.
