Focus on TARA ENERGY electricity plans:

Empower: This electric plan is a 12-month fixed rate plan. You will secure your rate for one year. What is special about this plan is that it does not have any monthly fees and the TDSP delivery charges are included in the fixed rate. As a result, you pay the same rate per kWh no matter how much electricity you use in a month. This is great for total peace of mind even if your monthly usage varies greatly from one month to the next.

Secure Energy Plan II: This two year electricity plan has a $9.99 charge that applies if your consumption is below 1000kWh. The rate is inclusive of TDSP delivery charges.

Nights free plan:  With this plan you can enjoy 10 hours of free electricity every day on a specific time range. This plan is a fixed rate and had a 3-year contract length.

How can I sign up for electricity with TARA ENERGY?

TARA ENERGY: What is a Switch Hold on my account?

A Switch Hold is placed either by the utility or the electricity provider that serves your location. There are two scenarios depending on the situation:

1/ If you are trying to set up service in a new residence, you will need to provide some additional information to TARA ENERGY. You can contact them by phone:  866-330-6455 or by email: CustomerSupport@TaraEnergy.com

2/ If you have been residing in that location, please contact your current electricity provider to solve the issue and remove the Switch Hold from your account.
